I hope this finds you well, and that I am sending this message to the right person. It is my understanding that you are the person who is responsible for the overall management of the Hyatt in Denver. If this is not correct, I would appreciate it if you might send this message to the appropriate people/person.
I am writing to share with you that my recent stay at the Hyatt in Denver was nothing short of AMAZING! The Morehead State University Men’s Basketball team earned a spot in the Denver bracket for the NCAA Tournament, and we brought 99 fans on buses to watch the games. As I planned our trip, I was connected with Jenaca for coordination. Jenaca is without a doubt one of the best hotel contacts with whom I have worked in my career. I have been in higher education for 22 years and have interacted with countless hotel employees across the country. Jenaca outshined they all by leaps and bounds!!! Any time I made a request (no matter how large or small) her response was “we can do that”, “my pleasure”, or “no problem”. As an example, we travelled on buses for 24 hours and arrived in Denver about 6:30 a.m. local time. It would have been easy for Jeneca and the Hyatt staff to ask us to wait until the official check-in time. However, when I checked in I found our keys ready and we were able to get some rest before our 11:40 game that morning. Words cannot express how much that meant to me! Jenaca checked on me several times to make sure we had everything we needed, and that our stay was pleasant. Our stay was not pleasant at all – (pleasant is not strong enough) it was INCREDIBLE!
In addition to Jenaca’s great work, I must applaud your entire staff! Each and every (and I mean every) employee with whom I had contact had a great attitude, always expressed that is was their pleasure to help me, and acted as human beings (as opposed to stuff shirts). Their smiles were genuine, they laughed with us, and went the extra mile on countless occasions. Within every organization, I know there are things that can improve; however, your staff did not exhibit any negativity whatsoever. Whomever is responsible for staff hiring, training, and morale development is doing an excellent job at the Hyatt in Denver.
I truly wish that I could take your hotel and employees with me when I travel. I have already recommended to everyone I know that if they are in Denver they have to stay at your hotel.
You have an OUTSTANDING organization, and I hope this communication will allow you to recognize Jenaca and all of your other employees with the highest level of praise you can within your organizational structure.
Again, my thanks to everyone at the Hyatt for treating Morehead fans like Kings and Queens during our visit. I could not have asked for a better hotel experience!
